Acceptable ID for Notarizing Documents must be:

Current, Government Issued Identification card

WITH

a serial number or identification number

AND

TITLE TRANSFERS

PENNSYLVANIA TITLES: 

  • ALL PA titles must be notarized.
  • The seller(s) must be present for notarization of their signature(s).
  • The purchaser(s) must be present for notarization of their signature(s)
  • We need to know the mileage of the vehicle (if not exempt) in order to notarize the seller's signature(s)
  • We need to know the proper spelling of the purchaser's name(s) in order to notarize the seller's signature(s).
  • Signers MUST bring valid proof of identification for their signature(s) to be notarized.


OUT OF STATE TITLES:  

  • We are REQUIRED to verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN number) on out of state titles and new vehicles. - PLEASE CALL FOR DETAILS (610)932-2556.
  • MOST Out of State titles do not require the seller's signature to be notarized, however, some DO.
  • SOME States that DO NOT requires notarization are: Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York.
  • SOME States that DO require notarization are: Ohio and North Carolina.
  • If the out of state title does not require notarization, the seller does NOT need to be present, but must sign the title prior to the title transfer.
  • Purchaser(s) MUST bring valid proof of identification.
  • We will need the mileage of the vehicle (if not exempt).


NEW VEHICLE TITLES

  • We are REQUIRED to verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN number) on NEW vehicles. - PLEASE CALL FOR DETAILS (610)932-2556.
  • NEW Vehicles have an MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin) or MCO (Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin)  instead of a state issued title. - This is like the new vehicle's "birth certificate", if you will.
  • The MCO or MSO, must only be notarized if the state where the new vehicle was purchased requires notarization on vehicle titles.
  • The MCO or MSO is required in order to transfer ownership of the vehicle, and to produce a title in the purchaser's name.
  • Purchaser(s) MUST bring valid proof of identification.
  • We will need the mileage of the vehicle (if not exempt).
